Black North Fiber blankets are made from fibers either produced at our farm or purchased locally. The blankets were woven at a Canadian mill from 85% wool and 15% mohair and have an attractive and sturdy blanket stitch binding.

Felted Batts

These one-of-a-kind felted batts are truly works of art! Produced from Black North Fiber's own cashgora and llama or combined with locally purchased wool, each batt is beautiful and unique. These felted batts are approximately 3’ x 4’ and come in three weights: 12 ounce felt which is suitable for clothing such as skirts and lightweight vests; 1 pound felt which can be used for heavy-weight vests and jackets; 2 pound felt that can be used for rugs or wall hangings either as is or needle-felted with your own beautiful designs.
